North Shore RR Company currently has a locomotive for sale. It is an EMD SW-7 Locomotive with the following specs:
- Built in May of 1950
- Electrically rewired by Conrail in the 1980’s
- Mechanically rebuilt by Conrail in 1980’s
- Prime Mover 12-567AC
- 1200 Horsepower
- Roller Bearing
- #6 Brake Equipment
- 2- 2 ½” or better wheel sets, and 2- 1 3/8 or better
- Equipped with a fuel saver
- Blue Carded
- In service and used daily on Nittany & Bald Eagle Railroad (in Lock Haven, PA)
- Pictures, maintenance, repair, and improvement records available
