The Northumberland County Council For The Arts & Humanities and the North Shore Railroad (Shamokin Valley Railroad) will be hosting two train rides for the

20th Annual Anthracite Heritage Festival Of The Arts

on

May 23, 2026

excursions will depart at 11am and 2pm.

Boarding will take place behind Rite Aid (Shamokin) on W. Water Street.

Tickets are priced at $14.00 each.

(Lap tickets available for children who will be riding on laps. One lap rider per paid adult.)

The 11:00am trip will travel for 1/2 hour towards Mt Carmel and return (1 hour total).
The 2:00pm trip will travel for 1/2 hour towards Paxinos and return (1 hour total).
