Job Description

Employee will report to our home office at 356 Priestley Avenue, Northumberland, PA, 17857.

This is a safety-sensitive environment. Clean drug testing is mandatory.

Employees are guaranteed a 40-hour work week.

On the job training will be provided.

Duties

Conductors/Engineers will be a member of train service on a full-time basis and complete miscellaneous duties as required.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, fitness testing, vision and audio screening, and background checks

  • Must be able to pass random drug and alcohol testing

  • Must have a good, safe driving record

  • Must have reliable means of arriving at work (and on time) each day

  • Must be able to perform physical labor (lift/move 60lbs & occasionally may have to lift up to 100lbs)

  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Must be able to walk on uneven/unstable surfaces for long distances

  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions

  • Must be able to work individually and as a team member

  • Must be able to make quick and responsible decisions regarding safety on and off track

  • Must be a safety-oriented individual

  • Must be a good team player

  • Must be available to work weekends (when necessary)

  • Must be available to work up to 12 hours per day (when necessary)
