The North Shore Railroad Company & Affiliates (North Shore Railroad) will be hosting train rides for

America’s 250th Celebration Train Rides

September 12, 2026

in Danville, PA

excursions will depart at 10am, Noon, 2PM, and 4pm.

These trips will feature NSHR 2238 (Semiquincentennial Locomotive).

Tickets cost: $20/seat

(Children two years old or younger, who will be riding on a lap for the entire duration of the trip, will be permitted to ride for free. One lap rider per paid adult.)

NSHR will also be using NSHR 2238 in passenger rides on Saturday, September 12th, in conjunction with Danville Heritage Festival - with an emphasis on America’s 250th Celebrations.

Departure times will be at 10am, noon, 2pm, and 4pm.

These rides will load at Danville Middle School, travel 30 minutes towards Bloomsburg, and return. Tickets for these rides are being sold at $20 per seat.

NOTES:

• Boarding will begin ½ hour before departure.

• Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

• Riders must arrive at least 10 minutes (or earlier) before departure because doors will close five minutes before departure.

• Smoking, vapes, alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicants are NOT PERMITTED on the train or railroad property at any time.

• Trains run - rain or shine. No refunds.

• NO PETS ALLOWED.
