Fall Foliage & Halloween Train Rides
on
October 18, 2025
Excursions will depart at 10am, Noon, and 2pm
Tickets will be available at the Bloomsburg Public Library.
WHAT IS THE COST?
Children under 1 year old (or younger) that will be sitting on an adult's lap) are FREE!
Tickets for the 10am and Noon trips are
$10 for children ages 12 and under
$15 for adults
Tickets for the 2pm ride are $25
Fees are not included in these prices. Tickets are non-refundable
WHERE DOES THE TRAIN TRAVEL?
The 10 am and Noon rides depart from Bloomsburg and travel west to Catawissa (towards Danville - approximately two miles past the Rupert Covered Bridge) and return. These rides that last a little over an hour and are a child-centered with a Halloween costume contest, music, and costumed characters.
The 2 pm ride departs from Bloomsburg, travels to Northumberland, and returns. This is a longer trip, lasting two and a half hours.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
FREE parking is available adjacent to the train boarding site at 769 Railroad Street. Volunteers and signs will direct you to parking lot.
ARE THE TRAIN CARS HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE?
Due to the historic nature of this equipment these cars are not handicap accessible, as the doorways are between 24 and 25 inches wide. Because of this, wheelchairs cannot be easily accommodated on the train.
